Policies and Information

Arrival Time

  • Please arrive at or 5 min before your appointment time. Do allow time for parking; there is all day street parking 2 blocks up from Piedmont Ave. on John or Montgomery St. and sometimes there are 2 hour spots available on Piedmont Ave.

  • Please wait in the waiting room at the end of the deck to the left of the studio or on the deck until I come get you.

Pre-Treatment Care

  • Please stop using AHAs/BHAs 3 days before and retinoids (including prescription) at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If your skin is feeling dehydrated or dry, use a thin layer of an emollient occlusive like vaseline or aquaphor at night on top of your moisturizer 1-2 days before your appointment. Hydrated skin always responds better to treatment.

Post-Treatment Care

  • Post care directions will vary somewhat, but for the most part please refrain from applying heat to your skin 48 hours after treatment: avoid hot yoga/pilates, saunas, hot tubs, and high intensity workouts. Stop the use of active products (retinoids and AHA/BHAs) for 2-3 days (or more if directed to) following treatment. Keep your skin hydrated and protected from the sun. 

Health, Safety and Cleaning Protocols

  • Some members of our community are at higher risk and I am happy to wear a mask during your service upon request.

  • If you are experiencing any flu or cold symptoms, please reschedule.

  • Fresh linens are used for each service and all surfaces are disinfected between clients. 

Cancellation Policy

  • We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours notice when making changes to your appointment. 

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. 

  • Chronic rescheduling will result in loss of appointment.

Late & No-Show Policy

  • You can be up to 20 min late for your appointment time, but the service will end at the scheduled time. 

  • No-shows will incur a fee of 100% of the service cost.

Return Policy

  • Unopened products may be returned for a full refund within 30 days.

  • Should you experience an adverse reaction to any product you’ve purchased through us, please reach out so we can resolve the issue. 

  • No returns are provided on any services rendered.
